A LITTLE ABOUT
OUR WREATHS First
off, we are proud to say, all our wreaths are made by Americans and
all tips that we use are grown right here in the "Good Ole" U.S.A." All of our wreaths are made from fresh Balsam Fir, with some styles having accents of cedar and/or white pine. You will find that Balsam Fir is the most aromatic of all the fir. this fresh woodsy scent is sure to fill your home with the aroma of Christmas. All of our wreaths are, hand tied, doubled sided, and suitable for outside display (unless noted otherwise). You will find that all of our wreaths are of the highest quality found anywhere. Take for example our 24" wreath (our most popular size) weighs around 6 to 7 lbs and has a thickness of approximately 6", compare this to even the "high end" mail-order wreath that weighs around 3 lbs and is 2 to 3 inches thick, and you begin to see the difference in quality. However, there is a lot more
involved in the making of a high quality wreath and it all starts
literally from the ground up. Another measure that is necessary for a quality wreath is that no tips can be harvested until the needles have "set", this means we must wait until the night temperatures have been in the low 20's for a minimum period of 5 consecutive nights. The cold temperatures cause the sap in the trees to go into the ground, and the needle sacs to contract, which holds the needles tight. This insures that our products do not shed their needles and last intact well past the Christmas season. We do not mass-produce thousands and thousands of wreaths yearly, nor do we stockpile our wreaths; we are a small family business that prefers "Quality over Quantity" and plan to stay this way. This allows us to give special attention to every single wreath, to make sure that the wreath you receive is always fresh and of the highest quality. In most cases, your wreath is less than 24 hours old when shipped to you. Although this section is a little
long winded, we do hope that you have a better understanding of what
sets our wreaths apart.
